Interpersonal Hypnotherapy (IH) was founded by Matthew Brownstein, CIHt after seeing a need for higher quality education in the field of Hypnotherapy and coming to the realization that our unique style of transforming people’s lives deserved its own branding.
Interpersonal Hypnotherapy honors the sacred nature of healing transformational relationship and helps students to heal themselves during our trainings and also to eventually be able to help and heal others.
The 500+ hour journey is deeply spiritual in that we honor that people are more than just mere bodies and that who we are in our essence is radiant and wonderful. Interpersonal Hypnotherapy works to empower the Hypnotherapist and the client to find the root causes of their issues safely and quickly, while awakening the client to who he or she really is.
Why do we say that there is a ‘spiritual nature’ to the work?
When we honor that we are more than our physical bodies, we become open to the idea that the Spirit that we are is filled with love, joy, peace, bliss and tremendous potential. IH teaches us to see our clients as perfect, whole and complete and to never believe their limitations or erroneous self-assessments. IH honors that people are inherently good and that by clearing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence within, we unfold that which is truly Divine. We never push any one spiritual or religious system of thought, yet we do encourage our students to open to all of the personal and spiritual growth that can come about through transforming the content of the subconscious mind.
