Department of Education – Commission for Independent Education
IIH is licensed (#3448) as a Hypnotherapy School through the Florida Department of Education’s Commission for Independent Education. This ensures that IIH maintains very high standards and signifies that its diplomas and certifications are valid and backed by the State. Department of Education – Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
IIH is an official vendor for Vocational Rehabilitation (VF#202535784001) through the Department of Education. Prospective students with disabilities first need to be client’s with the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists
The mission of the International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists is to set the standard for the education and ethical practice of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists worldwide. Matthew Brownstein, CIHt – Executive Director, North Carolina Location Instructor
Matthew Brownstein, CIHt is the CEO of Anahat Education Group, Inc. (AEG), President of the International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists (IAIH), and the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy (formerly the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy), Florida’s first State-Licensed Post-secondary Vocational Hypnotherapy Institute through the Florida Department of Education. Matthew is also the founder of Silent Light Publishers.
Matthew began as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist in 1997 and since then has logged over 18,000 hours of clinical and classroom experience. In 2007 Matthew opened as the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy, which has since expanded and grown into multiple cities across the nation with graduates now spanning the entire globe.
Monica Watermann – Admissions Director
Monica possesses a strong background in sales, marketing, leadership, and business relations management. She brings experience in real estate, education, and management. Her areas of expertise include consultative sales, business relations management and leadership.
Monica received her Computer Networking administration degree from Keiser College in 2000, earning her MCP that same year. She was retained by the Dean to stay on as a Computer Networking faculty member, and admissions advisor at the Keiser College campus in Sarasota, FL.
